1 Corinthians 2:4-5
“And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.” Lean not on your own understanding but trust in the Lord with your whole heart✨
1 TIMOTHY 2:1-15
This is a short chapter but it has so much to unpack.
We are told to pray and intercede on behalf of all men, and even KINGS! Pray that they find the truth and be led to the Lord.
Often we can find ourselves displeased with our boss, our parents, or even our president but rather than condemn them and give them our wrath we are instructed to pray for them. Pray that they lead with truth and do Gods will. We do this so we may be left to live in peace and honesty.
1 TIMOTHY 4:1-16
We are reminded to prioritize our faith and walk with God first in foremost.
Other things in our life may be profitable but little in comparison to our faith. For those profits we will see in this life now & eternally✨
Often as a young person or even in the beginning stages of our faith we can doubt ourselves and also have others doubt us. But God says to use the gifts you’ve been given and live a life that shows your faith.
You do this through the conversations you have, the way you behave, and overall how you lead your life. That no one will be able to deny.
In doing this “thou shall both save thyself, and then that hear thee” (verse 16). You may not see the influence you have on others lives, those who may be listening & watching you and your life living for God.

John 6:35
Jesus said unto them “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall not thirst.”
Spending time with the living word of God provides us spiritual sustenance we need to draw near to him & him draw near to us.
#sahm our lives can be chaotic and often times put God on the back burner among the list of things we must accomplish in a day. However, I have come to learn carving out 7 minutes in the day to spend with him is the very least to be done. Sit down, set your timer, and dedicate some undivided time to your relationship with Christ.
You will be refreshed and fulfilled by the end of it 🌼
